Ringgold Park to host Fête de la Musique on Saturday, June 25th from 3-6 PM

We’re so happy to once again be partnering with the Community Music Center of Boston (CMBC) to host live music in our neighborhood. CMCB’s Fête de la Musique is part of a four-decade tradition, launched in Paris in 1982, that now spans more than 100 countries and five continents. CMBC is an amazing South End organization that acts as an anchor for local arts education and we are so grateful for their leadership in organizing this event. Other Fête de la Musique sites in the South End will include Union Park and a Warren Avenue block party between Berkeley and Clarendon streets. More event details are found here.

2022 Spring Clean-Up: Saturday, May 7th, 9-11 AM

Please join the Friends of Ringgold Park on Saturday, May 7th from 9-11 AM for our spring clean-up. The clean-up is a great way to meet your neighbors and to help with the ongoing volunteer stewardship of this vibrant South End green space. Donuts and coffee will be provided, along with rakes, bags and (hopefully) mulch. Please bring gloves if at all possible. Families are more than welcome to join in as we always enjoy having young helpers involved.

2022 Ringgold Park Egg Hunt

After a two-year hiatus, the annual Ringgold Park Easter Egg Hunt is back! Please join us on Sunday, April 17th at 10:00 AM for the mad scramble and some good fun. The playgrounds will be stocked with treats for your kids to find (one area for those under age three, the other for those over) and our resident bunny might just make an appearance. Please bring your own basket.

2021 Halloween Update

Given the ongoing pandemic, including the fact that children under 12 still are not approved to receive Covid-19 vaccines, the Friends of Ringgold Park have decided NOT to hold our annual Ringgold Park Halloween Party again this year. We do still plan to put up some festive decorations and definitely encourage you to keep enjoying the park in safe ways at your leisure. Fingers crossed we can resume this great annual tradition in 2022!

Please join us for our annual Halloween Party at Ringgold Park! We’ll be kicking off the festivities at 5pm on Thursday, October 31 with glow sticks for kids and prizes for attendees of any age (including pets!) who come in the scariest/cutest/most clever costumes. Trick-or-treating will start at approximately 6pm. As usual we will be closing Waltham Street to vehicle traffic to keep kids safe.
